Hanley St Luke’s raises £1325!
Thank you!
All of us at the Miraflor Foundation would like to say a very big thank you to
all the students and staff at Hanley St Lukes Church of England Primary School
in Stoke on Trent. The children and their families raised a massive £1325
during their Lent Appeal in the spring. The money will be spent on developing
reading resources for the students of Vicente Talavera Primary School in Sontule.
Special thanks to Jenny McNulty, Year 6 teacher, who has promoted the exchange
and has got her class writing letters to students in Sontule. The first batch
of letters from Nicaragua should be arriving in the UK soon, and we hope that
this is the start of an ongoing relationship between the two schools.
Thank you everyone at Hanley St Luke’s! You don’t know how much your
efforts will mean to everyone in Sontule.
